We provide one-to-one tuition in maths and help prepare students to sit standard mathematics examinations. Each session is entirely bespoke, tailored to the needs and requirements of the individual student.
Group tuition for students who are studying the same syllabus and who are all roughly at a similar mathematical level. We run regular group sessions as a full program of study throughout the year.
Hi, welcome to mathsDoc. I'm Dean aka Sudaama, a qualified (QTS), experienced teacher, tutoring students in KS3, GCSE and A-level Mathematics and beyond. Most of the tuition is delivered online, but a limited amount of in-person tuition is available in the Bristol area. All the major exam boards are catered for (AQA, OCR, Edexcel, OCR MEI)
Tuition is delivered according to the student's own particular, individual needs. Students' are encouraged to develop their logical faculties, reasoning powers and analytical/critical thinking skills.
A wide range of mathematics resources are used to encourage multi-dimensional thinking which helps to nurture creative intelligence. You can find a wealth of free mathematics resources, as well as the virtual classroom, all hosted on our very own moodle maths portal section of the website (please also see the menu). In addition, we also have developed the Vedic Maths Portal which gives a glimpse into the sublime world of ancient Indian mathematics.

We used Dean in the run up to my sons maths GCSE exams. As a parent, from our perspective, the service that he offers has been invaluable. Striking the right balance when teaching maths, he takes the anxiety and frustration out of maths problems. Our son said that the maths lessons with Dean gave him a massive confidence boost and we actually did notice a marked change in his attitude and self belief; now he has an "I can" attitude rather than "I cant"! Dean is doing an excellent job with my youngest daughter Chloe and she is very happy working with him. Although excelling in many other subject areas, Chloe did lack confidence in maths but Dean has been able to put her at ease in a subject that she has never really enjoyed. We would definitely recommend Dean. When our daughter started her tuition with him she was getting Unclassified grade on her mock GCSE maths test. She has just got her results and she achieved a B grade. We don’t think that this would been possible without Dean's help.
